No two adaptive ski lessons are ever the same.
Before your lesson, we'll discuss your individual requirements to ensure we provide the most appropriate adaptive instructor, equipment and lesson plan for your needs.
Our qualified adaptive instructors have experience working with a wide range of disabilities and additional needs, including learning difficulties, autism, visual impairments and physical disabilities.
Where required, we can provide adaptive equipment including Junior and Adult outriggers (height dependent).
Whether your goal is taking your very first turns, developing greater independence on the snow or simply enjoying time in the mountains with family and friends, we'll help you achieve it in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Our adaptive team includes ski instructors with specialist adaptive qualifications and experience coaching across a wide range of disabilities and additional needs.
Sally is qualified to teach; Mono Ski, Bi-ski, Three Track, Four Track, Learning Difficulties, Autism and Visually Impaired.
She has also worked with the British Disabled Ski Team and both the Adult and Junior Development Squads.
Ali has extensive experience teaching skiers with learning difficulties, Down Syndrome and Autism. She also works with the Rossendale Special Olympics Ski Team.

Who are adaptive ski lessons suitable for?
Our Adaptive Ski Lessons are suitable for both adults and children with a wide range of physical disabilities, learning difficulties and additional needs. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, whether you're skiing independently, using adaptive equipment or learning for the very first time. If you're unsure whether we can help, simply get in touch and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements.
What adaptive equipment is available?
Depending on your individual needs, we can provide a range of adaptive equipment, including Junior Bi-Skis (very specific) and Junior/Adult outriggers. We'll discuss your requirements before your lesson to ensure the most suitable equipment and instructor are available for your visit.
Can adults and children both book lessons?
Yes. We offer Adaptive Ski Lessons for both adults and children, with every lesson planned around the skier's individual needs, goals and experience. Whether you're looking to build confidence, learn new skills or simply enjoy time on the mountain, we'll create a lesson that's right for you.
How do I know which equipment I need?
There's no need to decide before contacting us. We'll discuss your requirements, experience and any existing equipment you may already use before recommending the most appropriate lesson and adaptive equipment. Our aim is to ensure you have everything you need before arriving on the mountain.
Can family members join the lesson?
In many cases, yes but only as to accompany where needed. Depending on the skier's needs and the lesson objectives, family members may be able to join the lesson or ski alongside. We'll be happy to discuss the best option when planning your booking.
How long should I book?
We offer Adaptive Ski Lessons from two hours through to full-day sessions. The best lesson duration depends on the skier's experience, goals and energy levels. If you're unsure, we'll be happy to recommend the most suitable option during your enquiry.
How do I discuss my requirements before booking?

We'll take the time to understand your individual requirements, answer any questions and recommend the most appropriate lesson, instructor and equipment for your needs. This helps ensure everything is in place before you arrive, allowing you to make the most of your time on the mountain.
