Our children’s group ski lessons combine expert coaching with a fun and supportive environment where young skiers can learn alongside others of a similar age and ability. Little Skiers Big Adventures
Mini beginner groups
Our mini beginner groups are specially designed for younger children taking their first steps on skis. With a maximum of four children per instructor, lessons provide the extra attention, encouragement and support younger skiers need to build confidence while having lots of fun in the snow.
Using games, imaginative activities and plenty of positive encouragement, our instructors help little ones develop the foundations of skiing in a relaxed environment where learning feels like play.
Parents love our mini groups because kids receive plenty of individual attention while enjoying the excitement of learning alongside others their own age.

What age can children join group ski lessons?
Our children’s group ski lessons are available from 3 years old.
Children aged 3–5 years usually join our Mini Beginner groups, while children aged 5 years and above join our standard children’s groups, depending on their skiing experience and ability.
How are children grouped together?
Children are matched by both age and skiing ability.
Mini's have no more than a 2yrs age gap and with older children, we try to keep to 4yrs max age gap if possible.
How many children are in each group?
Children’s group ski lessons have a maximum of six children per instructor.
Mini Beginner groups have a maximum of four children, allowing our instructors to provide the extra attention younger skiers need.
What happens if there aren’t enough children to run the group?
We always do our best to ensure children don’t miss out.
For 4 max groups, we need 2 children min to confirm the group to run, with 6 max groups, we need 3 children min.
We’ll always discuss the available options with you at the time of booking if needed, which may include adjusting the lesson duration or offering the opportunity to upgrade the lesson if min numbers are not met.
Do you run children's groups out of peak weeks?
Yes we do but normally run 4 children max groups, as these only need 2 children max to confirm.
Will my child make friends?
One of the biggest benefits of group lessons is the opportunity to ski alongside children of a similar age and ability. Many children quickly build friendships that become one of the highlights of their ski holiday.
What should my child bring?
Children should arrive with suitable ski clothing, gloves, helmet, goggles or sunglasses and a valid lift pass where required.
We also recommend bringing a small snack and making sure they’re dressed warmly for the day’s conditions.

We offer children’s group ski lessons in Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz, subject to availability and demand.
