Maurice is a Co-Director of TSI. Born in Scotland, he learned to ski at the age of seven and completed his first ski instructor training in Austria at 18yrs. He quickly fell in love with teaching and has worked as a ski instructor across Europe and the Southern Hemisphere ever since.
Maurice became a fully qualified International Ski Teacher in 1997 and moved to Morzine in 2000. He is a current trainer for the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI)
Mo loves teaching skiers of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners building their confidence to instructors training for their next qualification. You’ll nearly always find him somewhere on the mountain!
When he’s not skiing, Mo enjoys track bikes, anything on two wheels and ski touring.

Sally is Irish born but has lived most of her life in Spain where her parents moved when she was 9yrs. She first discovered skiing in the Pyrenees and was hooked from the start. She did her first full season when she was 19yrs and made up her mind to become a ski instructor. To complement the winter seasons in Andorra she worked during the summers as a restaurant manageress in Spain, then moved to Morzine in 2000.

During the summer, Sally works on the Cricket Circuit installing all promotional material for Sky televised matches and at Queens tennis. She also builds websites in her free time!

Additional Qualifications: Adaptive Instructor.

Ross was born and grew up on the south coast of England. He started skiing at the age of 5yrs and began racing for Southampton dry slope at the age of 10yrs. In his teens racing took him to the Alps a couple of times a year and that is where his skiing developed.

Ross started his ski instructor career at 18yrs in Italy and continued there for a few years before moving to Les Gets/Morzine in 2004.

Hobbies include Pottery, tennis, badminton, sailing, film and photography.

Lisa was born and bred in Perthshire, Scotland. She learned to ski at the ripe old age of five, spending almost every weekend each winter up in Aviemore and the Cairngorms with her family.

She has been teaching skiing full time since 2001. Lisa is also qualified as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. 'Skiing is my Passion!

Her hobbies are mountain & road biking, walking and sunbathing!

Alex is a true mountain boy! He grew up skiing on these very mountains strapping on his first pair of skis at the tender age of 3yrs and racing at 7yrs. Alpine skiing, ski touring and snowboarding became a part of daily winter life and after earning his degree in Engineering to get a “proper” job, it felt only natural to stay on the skis where his passion truly lay and to pursue a career on the snow instead!

Alex has been a ski instructor in Morzine since 2000 and spent a season in New Zealand for a change of scenery. During the summer Alex can be found in Brittany on his road bike.

Gavin was born in County Durham and discovered his love of skiing on school trips to Italy. He qualified as a ski instructor in 1995, teaching on dry slopes before moving to Arinsal, Andorra, and later the Espace Killy, where he taught for six seasons. With many years of coaching experience, Gavin loves sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for skiing with his clients. He is also a qualified Personal Trainer and Kettlebell Instructor and has completed a full marathon in Mallorca. In summer, Gavin divides his time between working on Formula E and spending time with his family in Morzine.

Hobbies: Football, supporting Newcastle United and golf.

Ali started her ski career on a Lincolnshire dry slope before moving on to the dizzying heights of alpine green runs in Les Arcs. Family ski holidays led her to a winter season in Châtel.

She spent 6 years teaching on the other side of the Portes du Soleil ski area in Torgon and Chatel, and the other side of the world at Mt Hotham in Australia before settling in Morzine.

In summer you’ll find her on anything two wheeled riding up and down the mountains, and towing her twin boys on the ebike!

Mike is a born and bred northerner from Kendal in the Lake District. He first hit the slopes at just three and a half, progressing from family ski holidays to racing on the UK dry-slope circuit from the age of 11. After several winter seasons, Mike settled in the Portes du Soleil and began teaching on the Swiss side in 2010 before moving across to teach in France. Now living in the mountains year-round, Mike splits his time between skiing and his other great passion, mountain biking. He also enjoys ski touring, dreaming about his next skiing or biking adventure, and has a serious weakness for Percy Pigs!

Hobbies: Skiing, mountain biking, ski touring and Percy Pigs!

Nationality: Italian
Languages Spoken: Italian, Fluent English, French & Greek

Born in Asti in northern Italy, Fabio grew up on skis and competed in ski racing at a national level throughout his youth.

He qualified as a ski instructor at the age of 19 and began teaching immediately in Les Deux Alpes. Over the past 20 years, he has taught in a variety of resorts across Europe, bringing a wealth of experience to his coaching. For the last 11 years, Fabio has been based in Morzine.

When he’s not on the slopes, he lives in Greece, where he enjoys sailing, cycling and spending quality time with his family.
