What age can children start private ski lessons?
Children can usually start private ski lessons from 2 years old, depending on the resort and lesson type. If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, we’re always happy to offer advice.
Are private ski lessons suitable for complete beginners?
Private ski lessons are one of the best ways for children to start skiing, allowing them to learn at their own pace while receiving plenty of encouragement and individual attention.
Can brothers and sisters share a private ski lesson?
Yes. Siblings and friends can share a private ski lesson provided they’re of a similar skiing ability and age. This makes lessons fun while still allowing everyone to progress together.
Will my child enjoy a private ski lesson?
Our ski instructors work hard to make every lesson enjoyable and engaging. Younger children often learn through games and fun challenges, while older children benefit from coaching that keeps them motivated and excited to improve.
How many children can join one private ski lesson?
Private ski lessons can accommodate up to six children with one ski instructor, provided everyone has a similar skiing ability.
Which ski lesson duration is best for children?
This depends on your child’s age, confidence and energy levels. Shorter lessons are often ideal for younger children, while older or more experienced skiers may benefit from half-day sessions.

We offer children’s private ski lessons in Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz. Each resort has excellent beginner and family-friendly areas, and we can help you choose the best option based on your holiday plans and your child’s experience.
What should my child bring to their ski lesson?
Children should arrive with suitable ski clothing, gloves, helmet, goggles or sunglasses and a valid lift pass where required. We also recommend bringing a small snack and ensuring they’re dressed warmly for the conditions.
